Features & benefits

  • Four reversal modes

Characters, word order, letters within each word, or the order of lines.

  • Emoji-safe

Combined emoji and accented letters stay intact rather than breaking into odd symbols.

  • Palindrome check

Instantly tells you whether your text reads the same both ways.

  • Handles long lists

Reverse thousands of lines in an instant — handy for logs and CSV rows.

Practical uses for reversed text

Reversing the order of lines is surprisingly useful: it turns an oldest-first log into a newest-first one, or flips a ranked list. Reversing word order can help when rearranging names or testing how a sentence reads.

Character reversal is popular for puzzles, secret notes and creative typography. Note that it does not create mirror-image letters; it simply writes the same characters in the opposite sequence.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with emoji?

Yes. The tool reverses whole visible characters, so emoji such as flags and skin-tone variants stay correct.

How is the palindrome check done?

Letters and numbers are compared in a case-insensitive way, ignoring spaces and punctuation, so “A man, a plan, a canal: Panama” counts as a palindrome.

Is right-to-left text supported?

Arabic and Hebrew characters are reversed in sequence, but your browser will still display them right-to-left according to Unicode rules.
