Features & benefits
Unlimited order control
Move files up and down or remove them before merging.
Keeps quality
Pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and images stay sharp.
No watermark
Your merged file contains only your pages — no branding added.
Private & offline
Powered by the open-source pdf-lib library running in your browser.
Merging PDFs privately
Most online PDF services upload your documents to their servers for processing. That can be a problem for contracts, medical records or financial statements. ToolBox World merges files inside your browser tab instead, so the documents never leave your computer or phone.
Merging copies each page object into a new document. Text, vector graphics, images and page sizes are preserved. Interactive form fields and bookmarks from the source files may not carry over, and password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on files?
You can merge up to 50 files with a combined size of about 200 MB. The practical limit depends on your device's memory.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs can't be read without the password. Remove the protection in your PDF reader first, then merge.
Will links and bookmarks be kept?
Page content and most links are preserved, but document-level bookmarks (outlines) are not copied into the merged file.
